Banana strawberry nice cream is a healthy dessert or snack. It’s a simple, quick recipe that you’ll make over and over again during the summer.
What the heck is nice cream you ask? Well, you’re about to find out!
Nice cream is a healthier version of one of my favorite desserts. Instead of getting sugared up on ice cream, I still satisfy my sweet tooth with this frozen concoction. The base of nice cream is typically frozen bananas. The bananas give nice cream is smooth, creamy texture. From there, you can basically add any ingredient you’d like!
I’d been meaning to try nice cream for a while and saw this recipe on Nom Nom Paleo last week. I knew it was the recipe for me! I stuck to the original recipe pretty closely, outside of how I prepared the fruit. Instead of freezing the bananas and then cutting them up, I already had cut up frozen bananas on hand.
I’ve added in coconut flakes and chocolate chips to my nice cream and found it the perfect combination. I plan on adding more coconut, peanut butter, coffee and lots of other flavors to future nice cream recipes. It’s going to be a new go-to dessert for this sweets loving girl!
