Peppermint chocolate date balls make for a great holiday-themed snack! They’re naturally sweetened and perfectly poppable!
I need to self-brag on these peppermint chocolate date balls real quick. I’m really proud of them. I combined a few recipes I found on Pinterest and think I made the best date balls featured on this blog to date. They taste like York peppermint patties but without all the added sugar! That’s a win in my book.
Somehow, I made the peppermint chocolate date balls last all week. I wanted to stuff them all in my face in one sitting, but I resisted the temptation. Sometimes that happens in the life of a food blogger. Seriously though, they are so good.
As per usual with date balls, they are super satisfying and make for a fabulous mid-morning snack. The peppermint extract makes the date balls so refreshing. And you can never go wrong with cocoa powder. The best part is that the date balls are naturally sweetened. No artificial sugar as long as you use 100% cocoa powder. I think I would be fine if these little babies replaced peppermint patties permanently. Not convinced? Try them yourself!
